Job Summary
The Senior Associate will provide strategic legal support in navigating regulatory frameworks related to environmental, planning, and Aboriginal heritage laws. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving expertise, with responsibilities including guiding clients through approval processes, mentoring junior lawyers, and engaging with various regulatory bodies. Candidates should have a background in environmental law and ideally experience in related areas, along with excellent interpersonal skills necessary for client relationship building.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years' experience as a Senior Associate in environmental law
- Broad background in environmental law and ideally planning, Aboriginal cultural heritage or related areas
- Familiarity with State Administrative Tribunal or Supreme/Federal Court litigation
