Job Summary
Advise on contentious construction and engineering matters, handling adjudications, High Court litigation, and alternative dispute resolution processes. Act for a broad range of clients across energy, infrastructure, PFI/PPE, and development sectors while managing your own caseload and supporting partners on larger, multi-jurisdictional matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives. This Senior Associate role (5+ PQE) is based in Manchester within a team renowned for expertise in complex, high-value disputes. You will work on significant matters with exposure to varied sectors, supported by a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and client delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- 5+ years' PQE
- Strong experience in contentious construction / engineering disputes
- Proven experience in dispute resolution processes including adjudication and litigation
- Exposure to energy, infrastructure, PFI/PPE or major development projects
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex matters with a high level of autonomy
- Commercial awareness
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to support and mentor junior lawyers
