Job Summary
Conduct advisory and transactional work for a diverse client base, managing day-to-day HR issues, disputes, and contentious employment matters including Employment Tribunal cases. Draft and review contracts, policies, and settlement agreements while supporting ACAS conciliation and TUPE advice. Deliver training to clients and colleagues, brief counsel for hearings, and supervise junior team members to develop their leadership skills. Manage end-to-end employment strategies and strengthen client relationships through business development initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law
- Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with a current practising certificate
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- Experience supervising or mentoring others (or readiness to step into this)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
