Job Summary
Manage a caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and cohabitation agreements while advising clients on a wide array of family matters. Supervise junior staff and deliver exceptional client service through proactive support, maintaining high standards in accuracy and quality. Contribute to business development activities and networking to raise the profile of the Family team within the local community. Work flexibly to meet client requirements and strict deadlines while ensuring compliance hygiene.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor
- significant post-qualification experience in family law
- Extensive experience managing a varied family law caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Strong technical knowledge of family law and current legislation
- ability to provide practical, client-focused advice
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting junior colleagues
- contributing to the development of the wider team

- Responsible for a caseload of private family matters including: Divorce and Dissolution of civil partnerships
- Financial remedy
- Financial provision for children and separation agreements
- Cohabitation agreements
- Child arrangements
- Ability to manage client expectations and relationships
- Conscientious, hardworking, with developed critical thinking abilities and excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, targets and client protocols while maintaining high standards in terms of accuracy and quality
- A competent practitioner and advocate
- A focus on Excellence, particularly regarding Client Care
- Supervising junior staff
