Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data analysis tasks, specifying data collection and methodologies. Work closely with stakeholders to identify sources, gather information, and perform ETL processes. Build and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using tools like Power BI, SQL, or Python to automate processes and provide actionable insights for clients. This role offers a 9-day fortnight with no salary reduction and includes hybrid working options.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 3 year's experience in a similar role
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and dynamic approach to work, with ability to pivot between different projects and teams as needed
- Excellent communication skills, including interpreting requirements of diverse teams and adapting interpersonal style to different audiences
- Experience working with data in a commercial setting
- Ability to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks
- Ability to specify the data to be collected and methodologies and tools used
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders to identify data sources, gather relevant information, and perform ETL processes
- Ability to build and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or Python
- Ability to automate and simulate processes, adjusting and recasting models as required
- Ability to adjust and recast models as required
- Ability to provide meaningful and actionable insights and recommendations for the firm's clients
- Ability to provide solutions to complex financial and business problems
- Ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings
- Ability to engage with senior leaders and other key stakeholders
