Job Summary
Conduct analysis of threat actors, campaigns, and malware to transform internal and external threat data into actionable intelligence for protecting Pfizer's clinical systems, manufacturing operations, and supply chain. Partner with SOC, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management teams to translate intelligence into detection use cases, alert tuning, and threat-hunting hypotheses while supporting active investigations with adversary context and mitigation considerations. Maintain intelligence requirements focused on life sciences sector adversaries and prepare briefings that communicate trends and business impact to stakeholders. Contribute to vendor engagement, industry sharing, and continuous improvement of intelligence processes and tooling integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field
- Master's degree
- Associate's degree
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience
- More than 0+ years of experience
- 6 years of experience
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in cyber threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, threat detection, or a related cybersecurity domain
- Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, common attack techniques, and adversary behaviors affecting enterprise environments
- Ability to analyze threat data from multiple sources and synthesize it into clear, actionable intelligence
- Experience producing written intelligence outputs such as threat reports, summaries, or briefings for technical audiences
- Familiarity with collaborating across SOC, incident response, vulnerability management, or engineering teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business
- Must be able to work through a personal laptop computer or mobile device for extended periods
- Travel as required by the business (less than 5% domestic and/or international)
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, intelligence lifecycle processes, and structured analytic techniques
- Knowledge of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK for adversary and tactic mapping
- Exposure to supporting detection engineering, threat hunting, or incident response through intelligence inputs
- Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, financial services)
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCTI, GCIH, or equivalent intelligence- or security focused credentials)
