Job Summary
Senior Associate in Corporate Development responsible for evaluating and executing new business opportunities in commercial real estate, incubation of new products and services, and evaluating strategic investments and mergers & acquisitions. Builds financial valuation models and analysis of investment returns, prepares investment memorandums and other supporting materials for internal stakeholders, supports corporate finance and investor relations with quarterly portfolio analytics and earnings materials, and collaborates across functional groups on analytical projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/related field and 2-5 years in CRE finance/investment management, with GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency. Hybrid work arrangement with a 3-day in-office minimum in New York, NY. Base salary range $110,000-$135,000 with potential incentives; emphasizes confidentiality and ability to work under pressure in a lean, high-performance team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 2-5 years relevant work experience in CRE finance, investment management, or commercial banking
- Working knowledge of GAAP financial statements
- Ability to build forecast models in Excel
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines; ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in daily activities
