Job Summary
Senior Corporate Counsel role based in London (with Dublin presence listed in locations) focusing on practical legal support for EquiLend’s global sales contracting activity. Draft, review and negotiate complex SaaS, data, technology and financial services-related commercial contracts; advise on contract terms, negotiation positions and legal risk; support legal considerations for emerging technologies including Gen AI and data innovation; partner with Legal, Compliance and business teams across regions to deliver consistent, high-quality legal support; collaborate with RevOps and Legal Specialist teams to improve sales contracting processes and drive operational efficiency; contribute to knowledge management through templates, playbooks, and guidance for repeatable sales contract activity; manage multiple matters at pace balancing commercial priorities with sound legal judgement.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years PQE in law firm and/or in-house (SaaS, data, technology, fintech, financial services or commercial sales contracts)
- Qualified lawyer with active license to practice law in England and Wales or another relevant common law jurisdiction
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of intellectual property, contract law, information security and data privacy considerations
- Experience supporting sales contracts or commercial technology agreements
