Senior Associate Civil Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct roadway design, site plan preparation, stormwater management, and utility planning while leading coordination with municipalities, utilities, and planning boards. Perform site investigations to document existing conditions, review design calculations, and prepare drawings, specifications, and bid packages. Supervise project plans and design calculations, mentor local engineering staff, and provide construction administration solutions. Engage with existing and new clients to support regional business growth and lead proposal technical content. Perform monthly and quarterly financial updates and attend industry functions. Requires MA Civil PE, 12+ years of experience, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency. Salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering
- MA Civil PE required
- Experience in working with various MA cities and townships, MBTA, Massport, and/or MassDOT
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters
- Understanding and application of local code and permitting requirements
- Ability to collaborate with the Regional Manager and other business units for pursuit of business opportunities and growth of the practice
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
