Job Summary
Conduct acquisition finance, leveraged buyouts, and large-scale corporate syndicated lending for private equity sponsors, investment banks, and corporate borrowers. Supervise and develop junior lawyers while actively contributing to business development, client pitches, and thought leadership activities. Manage transactions with a high degree of autonomy alongside partners Alex Schlosser and Kate O'Donovan on market-shaping deals. Requires minimum 6 years' post-admission experience at a top-tier firm with strong technical grounding in banking and finance law.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years' post-admission experience
- gained at a top-tier or leading international law firm
- Strong technical grounding in banking and finance law
- specific experience in leveraged and/or acquisition finance
- Proven ability to proactively manage transactions and client relationships with a solid degree of autonomy
- commercial, solutions-focused approach
- very strong drafting and negotiation skills
