Job Summary
Build and maintain the Asset-Based Finance Power BI environment within Microsoft Fabric, focusing on collateral performance, credit metrics, and fund-level reporting. Partner with the ABF deal team to validate outputs against business needs and iterate dashboards based on live feedback from borrower calls. Write efficient SQL queries, DAX measures, and Power Query scripts to support analytical models, while developing PySpark notebooks and Azure data pipelines for large-scale data processing. Enforce semantic model security and governance standards to protect sensitive deal data and ensure accuracy across reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 8+ years of experience in data analytics and BI development on cloud platforms
- Exposure to alternative investments
- asset-based finance, structured credit, or private credit experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric for developing data pipelines, dataflows, Lakehouse, and data warehouse solutions
- Strong Power BI development skills, including DAX, Power Query (M), semantic modeling, and paginated reports
- Experience with SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for querying, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and notebook-based development
- Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing within Fabric, Databricks, or Synapse Spark environments
- Working knowledge of the broader Azure data stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of data governance, reporting standards, and compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
