Job Summary
Senior Associate/AVP, Legal Counsel to support day-to-day legal matters arising from Revantage's APAC operations, including corporate, commercial and compliance workstreams; provide transactional support to Blackstone's APAC real estate businesses; support portfolio companies with APAC-related legal matters; coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders; advise on governance, evidence handling, leases and tenancy, vendor screening, and onboarding of new portfolio companies; mentor junior team members in India and help transition processes to the GCC; draft and update SOPs; track and safekeep commercial contracts and documents; collaborate with Blackstone and Revantage teams on issues including tax, employment, finance, and corporate matters; facilitate board and investment committee activities; oversee engagement letters, service agreements, NDAs, and other contracts; coordinate governance and regulatory processes across APAC and India.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from a recognised university (2:1 or above)
- 6-8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a leading law firm and/or an in-house role with a reputable investment firm or multinational corporation (MNC)
- M&A or corporate real estate experience in a commonwealth country
- Confidence presenting to C-suite stakeholders, delivering training, and leading negotiations independently
