Job Summary
Lead planning meetings and manage small teams during fieldwork while preparing budgets for client assurance engagements. Build and maintain client relationships, addressing year-end planning issues and conducting comprehensive analysis on complex accounting topics. Execute and finalize assurance engagements, ensuring all protocols are adhered to, and prepare corporate tax returns and financial statements with minimal oversight. The position requires ongoing professional development towards CPA certification and familiarity with essential accounting software.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation in progress
- Completion of a Bachelors degree majoring in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- Two (2) years experience with a public accounting firm focused on tax or accounting
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of CaseWare and TaxPrep
- Solid understanding of business professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
