Job Summary
Manage client projects and mandates as the key point of contact, executing first drafts of advice notes, briefing notes, Q&A, comms plans, and media summaries. Proactively pitch media and influencer opportunities across tier one outlets while developing owned content strategies to enhance corporate channels. Analyze major sector developments and horizon-scan for new business opportunities to contribute to proposals, leveraging AI for original insights and efficiency. Craft integrated communications campaigns and digest technical detail into compelling messages. This role sits within the Strategy & Reputation practice group, offering access to senior clients in the energy and sustainability sectors.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience at a strategic communications agency
- preferably with clients in the energy / climate sectors
- Bachelor's level degree or MBA or equivalent
- Independent, entrepreneurial, creative and proactive
- Strong written skills and ability to confidently produce high-quality written materials for clients
- Ability to quickly digest and transform technical detail into accessible and compelling messages
- Strong project and account management skills
- Proficient in the use of online/digital tools, media/social media analysis and distribution tools
- Confident with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant AI tools
- Must be able to work in London
Desired Qualifications
- Deep interest in business and current affairs and helping leading organisations grow, change, recover or rebuild
- Strong relationships across the spectrum of media including trade, national / international, podcasts and Substacks
- Digital-native mindset and able to confidently use AI platforms to generate insights and complete tasks more efficiently
- Prior agency experience
