Job Summary
Monitor 24x7 security systems including Anti-Virus, EDR, and DLP while investigating and triaging alerts per standard operating procedures. Execute first-level incident response with escalations to L2/L3 teams as needed, and maintain system health through dashboard monitoring, log analysis, and routine maintenance during scheduled windows. Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems, ensure compliance with security standards, and provide status updates to stakeholders. Work in a shift-based environment supporting patching, upgrades, and policy updates.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (endpoint security, malware, threats, etc.)
- Ability to follow standard procedures and runbooks accurately
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a shift-based / 24x7 operational environment
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure (academic or work) to security systems such as Anti-Virus, EDR, DLP or Spam Filtering is a plus
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Unix operating systems
- Good communication skills for incident reporting and escalation
- Team player with attention to detail and discipline in execution
