Senior Associate, Advisory Services

Job Summary

Research and analyze complex GAAP technical issues, drafting position papers and memos on revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock-based compensation. Assist clients with SEC reporting requirements, including 10-K/10-Q preparation and S-1 registration statement support, while supporting IPO readiness and M&A technical accounting due diligence. Communicate with clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure efficient information flow, proactively managing project deadlines to deliver high-quality work products. Coach and review the work of Associates and Interns, providing technical feedback on research and memo drafting while collaborating with Partners and Managers on engagement status and technical conclusions. Stay up to date with current accounting principles and industry-specific knowledge to support the Advisory team's collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Completed the necessary academic credit hours to sit for the CPA exam
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Associate level position in public accounting and have reached the title of Senior Associate (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience researching and documenting complex accounting issues
  • Strong financial reporting and SEC reporting skills
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and proven ability to oversee engagements to meet client deadlines
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
