Job Summary
Senior Associate Athletics Director of Development at Baylor Athletics oversees Excellence Funds for sport-specific giving, identifies, cultivates, and solicits prospective donors, collaborates with coaching staffs to meet program needs, and manages fundraising strategies and a portfolio of donors to drive new member growth. Responsible for written communications including proposals and stewardship reports, donor relations on game days, maintaining data integrity for all sources, and adhering to applicable NCAA and university rules. Leads the Bear Foundation team toward annual fundraising targets and partners with University Advancement, the B Association, and Ticketing Office to establish systemic processes. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- five years relevant work experience
- ability to interact with donors and university officials
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- proven ability to build relational capital
- experience with fundraising campaigns and donor database applications (preferred)
