Senior Associate - Actuarial

Job Summary
Conduct actuarial audits and consulting work for clients across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, focusing on general insurance domains including reserving, capital, actuarial due diligence, new license applications, business planning, and climate risk. Execute consulting projects such as IFRS17 implementation and reserving analysis. Work alongside experienced senior actuaries with diverse backgrounds, including former C-Suite roles and regulatory positions. This role requires at least three years of relevant experience in general insurance actuarial roles and fluency in English. The position offers comprehensive actuarial exam policy with study leave and rewards, along with Flex+ work arrangements including flexible hours and hybrid office/home options.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years relevant experience in general insurance actuarial roles
- Strong relationship building, time management and project management skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Degrees/Field of Study required
- Academic Certificates and Transcripts, from SPM (or equivalent) onwards
- A copy of your NRIC or passport
- Recent passport size photo
- Government Clearance Required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the following would be an advantage: reserving and financial reporting (RBC and IFRS 17), data analytics (Python, SQL, Databricks), IFRS17 implementation, visualization tools (PowerBI, QuickSight)
- Technically strong candidates from other actuarial backgrounds with a desire to pursue reserving and reporting may also be considered
