Senior Assistant, Trust Accounting

Job Summary
Perform accounting functions for assigned trust accounts by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting records for bookkeeping. Prepare full sets of accounts and unaudited financial statements in accordance with trust agreements, regulatory guidelines, and accounting standards while ensuring strict timeline adherence. Maintain accurate records including adjusting journal entries and uphold company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with clients, peers across departments, and stakeholders. Handle ad-hoc functions as required. This role reports to the Associate Director in Malaysia, offering a flexible hybrid arrangement with comprehensive medical, dental, and wellness benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant working experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or an equivalent qualification
- Computer proficiency in MS Office/ Excel Applications
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software is a plus
