Job Summary
Senior Assistant II in Transactional Services based in Jakarta: responsible for entry claim processing from email, monitoring timeframes and responses to clients and reinsurers, reviewing client claim advices and billing per procedures, assisting with client/reinsurer queries, resolving claim issues, processing reinsurance claims (verification of documentation, evaluating eligibility, determining coverage parameters, and calculating settlements), ensuring adherence to Guy Carpenter Professional Standards, and performing related duties. Requires a university degree or equivalent, 3–5 years in claims processing in reinsurance (preferably treaty reinsurance), strong communication and Microsoft Office skills, and fluency in English. Marsh/ Guy Carpenter supports hybrid work with in-office presence at least three days per week in Jakarta.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in processing claims in a reinsurance environment
- Prior experience in Reinsurance industry with treaty reinsurance desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft suite skills
- Fluent in English
