Senior Assistant Director, Residence and Campus Life

Senior Assistant Director for Residence and Campus Life oversees housing operations and programming for 300-600 students, supervising 10-15 Residential Student Leaders (RSLs) and managing a functional area within Campus Life and Leadership (e.g., Housing Operations, Residential Experience & Leadership, Student Engagement & Activities, Case Management & Conduct). Responsibilities include developing goals, implementing policies, coordinating floor/hall/campus-wide programming, advising residents and student groups, supervising staff, managing budgets, enforcing College and residence-hall policies, coordinating openings/closings, handling crises and health & safety checks, and participating in on-call duty on a rotating schedule. Must reside on campus in a furnished apartment, with on-campus living required. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) and 5+ years in residence life or related area; strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills; ability to intervene in difficult situations; experience with training, programming, presenting workshops, advising groups, and collaboration across campus. The position is 12-month, full-time, live-in, with on-call responsibilities including nights, weekends, holidays, and college breaks; benefits include on-campus housing and meal plan, and a starting pay range around $54,600 annually.
