Job Summary
Develop strategic asset management plans and service level performance measures for water and wastewater utility clients. Analyze operational business processes, conduct condition and consequence-of-failure assessments, and evaluate large utility GIS and maintenance databases to support inspection and planning programs. Perform consulting tasks including asset register development, criticality analysis, and cost projections to identify repair and renewal needs. Provide recommendations for improved operations and maintenance practices and technology applications to minimize life cycle costs. Collaborate with engineers, IT professionals, and scientists on project site visits and client meetings, requiring some travel.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of consulting experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a municipal utility
- B.S. in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Engineering Management
- Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, conferences, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- IAM, PE and/or PMP certifications are preferred
- Experience in GIS, Business Intelligence (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc.), CMMS or other asset management decision support platforms
- Experience as a Project Manager and proficiency with Microsoft Project
