Job Summary
Senior Asset Management Associate responsible for financial analysis, portfolio performance, and leasing/marketing analysis; duties include compiling due diligence materials, responding to broker/investor inquiries, preparing investment reports, coordinating with operations, analyzing operating budgets, reviewing LOIs, participating in lease negotiations, performing market analyses, and traveling to active markets to assess asset performance and conduct competitor analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in asset management, real estate private equity, investment banking, or a similar analytical role
- Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and an understanding of valuation, IRR, and waterfall analysis
- Familiarity with property-level operations, budgeting, and leasing strategies; student housing or mixed-use experience preferred
- Experience interpreting financial reports such as rent rolls, T12s, and budget variance reports
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to properties and markets as needed
