Job Summary
Senior Asset Engineer role focused on leading the implementation of the Asset Management System (AIMS) and asset-management initiatives. Responsibilities include driving asset strategies, overseeing data gathering and verification, managing maintenance and inspection programs, monitoring asset condition and performance, and ensuring asset information integrity. Support rollout of AIMS and optimise maintenance resources across the contract. Develop, review, and implement Asset Management processes and documentation; update O&M plans to reflect changes in legislation, standards, policy, and contracts. Analyze data to identify recurring failures and develop engineering solutions; prepare O&M reports, KPI dashboards, and asset condition/performance summaries. Extract and analyse asset data to inform renewal, refurbishment, disposal, and maintenance planning. Use AIMS to plan, schedule, and issue work orders; assist with timely close-out and follow-up actions. Monitor and report asset condition and performance, propose rectification plans, provide AIMS training, support, and troubleshooting. Conduct asset data collection, validation, and integrity checks. Requires tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction with knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55000), proven asset-engineering experience, data analysis skills, and stakeholder-management abilities.
