Job Summary
Lead rapid product development in the Asset Development group by automating the definition, architecture, and delivery of software products that augment Five9 core offerings. Execute end-to-end tool chains including project definition, source control, linting, and test automation using modern methodologies. Collaborate via web conferences and chat to deliver web-based applications leveraging JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and VueJS on cloud architectures like AWS and Google Cloud. Work independently as a self-starter within a team environment to support continuous innovation in cloud contact center solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong software development background
- Experience working with end-to-end tool chains including project definition and organization, source control, linting, test automation
- Recent experience with Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Git
- Expert in: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, Node.js
- Proficient in: Typescript, Nest.js, VueJS
- An understanding of cloud-based software development considerations and architectures (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and web-based API interfaces (SOAP, REST, AJAX, WebSockets, etc.)
- Familiarity with unix based command line shell usage
- 5+ years experience in application or integration software development
- 3+ years development experience in web-based applications (HTML5, JavaScript) and associated frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, SASS, PostCSS, jQuery, Marionette, Backbone, Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.
- 1+ years experience with web application hosting services such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, and self-hosted Node.js services
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- This is a full-time remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the Continental US
- Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices. For candidates who reside within a 30 mile radius of one of our offices, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (T, W, TH) in office
- The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently while staying in sync with the rest of the team
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Contact Center technologies a plus
- Application development related to Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) with systems such as Cisco ICM/UCCE, Genesys, or Avaya is a plus
