Job Summary

Assemble electronic components requiring complex wiring, soldering, and connecting under microscopes while reading schematics, parts lists, and wiring diagrams. Specify, acquire, set up, and maintain equipment to build, repair, and troubleshoot electronic subassemblies. Diagnose, locate, and correct malfunctions requiring high skill levels. Work with engineering staff to develop systems, recommend modifications, and compile data for design feedback. Assist in training co-workers and potentially lead team schedules. This role supports Nuvotronics' Design for Manufacturing team, translating designs into buildable products for transportation and defense solutions. Requires two-year college degree, six years of electronic experience, and a DOD Security Clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Two-year college degree, military technical training, or equivalent
  • Minimum of six years direct electronic experience in digital and analog circuitry or radio frequency components
  • Senior Technician level
  • Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and use of software packages required to support hardware builds
  • Ability to read and write technical materials and perform moderately complex technical phases of work
  • Ability to communicate feedback with general engineering staff, verbally and written
  • Ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays to support customer needs
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
