Job Summary
Build artwork files adhering to business standards and client brand rules while ensuring right first time quality performance. Create print trial files and execute colour retouching or correction across all print disciplines. Own brand guidelines, including their creation, amendment, and periodic review, to maintain consistency throughout the full project range. Represent the team in project planning and seek process optimizations to improve quality and delivery. Participate in root cause and corrective action investigations. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours) includes three days in the office in Hull, UK, with two days remote, and offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in packaging artwork production
- Use of software applications used in artwork packaging production such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office
- Detailed understanding of print processes and reprographics application
- Ability to adapt a design to different components / sizes in keeping with design intent
- Ability to perform colour retouching for multiple print disciplines
- Ability to visually inspect two samples and understand what retouching/corrections are needed to get the closest possible match
- Ability to interpret complex guideline documents
- 3 days in the office in Hull, UK
- 2 working from home
