Job Summary
Senior Art Director role focused on hands-on design and AI-assisted advertising across multiple channels. Lead ideation, visual development, and execution of marketing assets for digital and social formats, using Pencil AI and other GenAI tools. Responsibilities include developing concepts, storyboards, and moodboards; asset creation for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Display; guiding and briefing other designers and motion designers; ensuring brand alignment and high-quality output; researching and implementing new GenAI tools; presenting concepts and value of AI-powered solutions to clients; mentoring teammates and expanding GenAI proficiency across the team; delivering projects from concept through final execution in collaboration with GenAI Creators, Copywriters, Motion Designers, and Project Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Art Direction or senior creative experience in an advertising agency, in-house creative team, or design studio
- Proven Art Direction portfolio with hands-on traditional and AI-assisted projects
- Experience directing multidisciplinary creative teams (designers, motion artists, editors)
- Working knowledge of GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Veo3) and willingness to train on Pencil
- Hands-on experience with GenAI-driven ideation, prompt creation, and asset generation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to refine AI-generated outputs via prompts/editing tools
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong visual storytelling and client presentation skills
- Mentoring/leadership mindset for upskilling teammates
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
