Job Summary
Senior Area Manager for Indonesia responsible for acting as team lead of the region, developing and executing regional strategy to increase Agoda footprint, coordinating with senior management, conducting market research, representing Agoda at tradeshows/events, developing and maintaining relationships with hotels and technology partners, ensuring Best in Class Supply, leading a team of market managers, supporting partner visits, building tools to improve productivity, implementing partner strategies to maintain competitive advantage, and contributing to recruitment and coaching of the team. Requires Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), 5-10 years of sales experience in travel/e-commerce, and at least 3 years leading teams; strong Excel/data visualization, analytical, communication and leadership skills; ability to persuade senior management and adapt to change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or equivalent degree required
- MBA is a plus
- 5-10 years' experience as Sales in a fast-growing globally operating travel/e-commerce company
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading successful teams in e-commerce or travel industry roles
- Proven ability with Excel and data visualization
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to report and persuade senior management
- Ability to communicate value proposition and recommend solutions to partners
- Professional get-it-done attitude and work ethic
- Adaptability to change
