Senior Architectural Technologist

Job Summary
Assist the project team with design studies, model-making, and preparing graphic presentations for client meetings. Produce and modify SACAP Stage 3 and 4 technical documentation in Revit under direct supervision. Manage project files and drawing registers to ensure accurate record-keeping and version control. Research National Building Regulations, local zoning schemes, and by-laws to ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate architectural drawings with input from internal engineers and external consultants. Attend site visits and project meetings to take minutes, observe construction progress, and gain practical exposure. Submit a CV and portfolio by August 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate of a professional degree in Architecture (BTech, BArcHons, or MArch) from an accredited institution
- Must be registered or eligible for immediate registration as a Candidate Architectural Technologist, Candidate Senior Architectural Technologist or Candidate Architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
- Must have experience using Revit for architectural drafting and modelling
- Possess a strong desire to learn, take instruction, and apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Meticulous approach to drafting and documentation, understanding the importance of accuracy in technical work
- Highly motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively to support multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in other relevant software (Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, Rhino)
