Job Summary
Prepare working drawings, coordinate with design architects and project executives, and lead client design meetings. Submit drawings for permit, manage the approval process, and assist in preparing specifications and contract change orders. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and make field trips to verify information. Support BIM management by implementing software, training personnel, and evaluating new tools. Assist the Director of Production in mentoring junior staff and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Well versed knowledge of building codes and accessibility codes
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience with multi-story buildings
- Architectural License required
- 10 years of professional experience in commercial architecture required
- Travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speclink preferred
- Proficiency in Procore is preferred
- NCARB certification preferred
- Multiple State Architectural Licenses preferred
- LEED AP credential preferred
- WELL AP credential preferred
