Job Summary
Senior Project Architect leads project execution and coordinates across clients, consultants, and team members to deliver innovative architectural solutions for educational facilities, data centers, and other market developments. Responsible for guiding a team of architects, engineers, and production staff, conducting code and materials research, developing technical design solutions, delivering clear project documentation, participating in the conceptual design, supporting the project lifecycle, and coordinating with clients and engineers. Requires a minimum of 15 years’ architectural design experience, a Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s preferred), Architectural License or NCARB certification, and proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam. LEED accreditation is preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, design excellence, and effective communication through graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the design of architectural projects
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture; master’s degree a plus
- Architectural License or NCARB certification required; LEED accreditation preferred
- Proficient in Revit and Bluebeam with advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to apply architectural principles to buildings/structures and their components or assemblies
- Ability to handle designing and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required
- Self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to write reports and specifications required
