Senior Architect for Data Center/Industrial projects

Job Summary
Senior Architect for Arcadis Romania data center and industrial projects. Deliver architectural design outputs for data center facilities, develop data hall and support spaces, and coordinate with MEP, structural, fire life safety, and civil teams to ensure integrated, buildable, and efficient solutions. Lead design reviews, mentor junior staff, and contribute to data center standards, templates, and repeatable design approaches. Utilize Revit and support design tooling, collaborate with global teams across time zones, and engage in client discussions to align with project standards and client guidelines. Open to hybrid work arrangements within Iasi (Romania) and related project contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in Data Center and mission critical facility design/Industrial projects
- Proven capability across all project stages from concept through IFC and construction support
- Strong understanding of data center planning, typologies, and redundancy concepts and their architectural implications
- Experience leading architectural scope and coordinating with Structures, MEP, Fire Life Safety, and Civil teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage design packages, and maintain quality and client expectations
- Strong client-facing skills, including design reviews and presentations
- Advanced proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD; visualization tools are a plus
- Experience with international teams and global delivery models; familiarity with German projects is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for digital initiatives and process automation
