Job Summary
Transform design concepts into feasible elements by developing detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Rhinoceros software. Accurately realize creative concepts into final products while collaborating with architects, designers, and production teams to address modifications. Oversee the entire production process from concept to assembly, supervising on-site construction to ensure safe, design-oriented outcomes. Provide feedback on processes to enhance efficiency and resolve challenges through strong problem-solving skills. Manage timelines and deliver results on schedule within a fast-paced environment focused on creating unforgettable event experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design, 3D modeling, and design implementation
- Experience in managing complex design projects from concept to production
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with architects, designers, and production teams
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D drawings
- Proficiency in Rhinoceros or other 3D modeling software (such as SketchUp or 3ds Max)
- In-depth understanding of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and material specifications
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications with a focus on practical application
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee the production and assembly process
- Experience in managing the on-site installation of design elements and ensuring safety and quality standards
- Proven ability to manage timelines and deliver results on schedule
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead design meetings, provide guidance, and communicate ideas effectively with different stakeholders
- Experience in working collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and production staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve design and production challenges
- Analytical skills to provide feedback on design and production processes for optimization and improvements
- Keen attention to detail in design specifications, production drawings, and material selection
- Ability to ensure that all elements of design are realized with precision and according to specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing project requirements
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies, design trends, and production techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in 3D modeling, CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros), or design software
- Familiarity with other design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, etc.)
