Job Summary
Senior Architect at AECOM leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary infrastructure design teams in London. Responsibilities include contributing to innovative design solutions, directing material and building system design, ensuring CDM Safety in Design, coordinating with clients and contractors, maintaining design quality to AECOM standards, providing design leadership, and supporting resource forecasting, staff development, and business development. Required skills include advanced CAD usage (AutoCAD, REVIT) with emphasis on REVIT 3D modelling, familiarity with Rhino/Grasshopper and other CAD/render tools, experience with CDE platforms (B360, ProjectWise, AutoDesk Docs), strong teamwork and communication, and eligibility to work in the UK. Preferred ARB registration and RIBA Part 2/Part 3 qualifications, with a focus on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in areas such as Surface Transport, Rail, and Aviation. Required Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Architect (ARB Registered)
- Degree qualification, preferably with Diploma or Masters in a University Course
- Experience in large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably in infrastructure
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT); hands-on experience with 3D modelling in REVIT
- Knowledge of parametric modelling software (Rhino/Grasshopper, Solidworks)
- Familiarity with presentation/render software (Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Powerpoint, Lumion)
- Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) like B360, ProjectWise, AutoDesk Docs
- Ability to manage project design teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary work
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, local authorities
- English language proficiency; good communication of drawings and reports
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willingness to work in a range of infrastructure design areas (Surface Transport, Rail, Aviation, Education, Health Care, Science, Logistics)
- Degree level qualification; ARB registration; RIBA Part 2 or Part 3 preferred
