Job Summary
Lead architectural project development from concept through construction, ensuring technical coherence, buildability, and cost control. Develop detailed design packages and specifications while coordinating structural, MEP, and sustainability consultants to achieve integrated solutions. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, review documentation for accuracy, and align technical decisions with budget parameters. Propose innovative systems and materials that enhance efficiency and sustainability, liaise with local manufacturers to specify construction systems, and conduct internal quality assurance processes. Engage in design critiques, presentations, and client meetings. This role requires a degree in Architecture with 10-15 years of experience, proficiency in BIM, and knowledge of Spanish building regulations. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or Technical Architecture
- 10-15 years of professional experience
- Strong design and graphic skills
- Proficiency in BIM-based environments and software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and collaborative platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in the development of construction details and technical solutions for complex projects
- Experience in construction phase supervision, including site visits and issue resolution
- Proven experience delivering projects for or in Spain, with knowledge of Spanish building regulations and standards (CTE, LOE, EHE)
- English proficiency
- Portfolio submission
- Attendance at an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
