Job Summary
Senior Applied Scientist at OnePay responsible for designing and deploying machine learning, deep learning, and LLM models to enhance customer experience, drive growth, and improve operational efficiency. Will build intelligent AI agents that reason, plan, and interact across workflows, develop personalization and recommendation systems, and design/optimize search and retrieval systems to boost relevance and user satisfaction. Requires 5+ years of production ML/AI experience, hands-on with AI agents or search/recommendation technologies, and a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to bring AI solutions from ideation to deployment. Hybrid work model in Bengaluru (three days in office), plus transport and WFH allowances; inclusive culture and full interview process outlined. Ensures impactful contributions across a fast-moving fintech platform.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and productionizing ML/AI models with measurable business impact
- Experience developing AI agents, recommendation systems, or search technologies in a production environment
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Fluency in collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to bring AI solutions from ideation to deployment
- Drive and proactivity in building and delivering AI solutions
