Job Summary
Design SEWS next-generation supply chain systems architecture by transitioning legacy in-house systems to SaaS cloud platforms like ERP and TMS. Develop API-based and event-driven solutions enabling real-time data exchange across production planning, logistics tracking, and warehouse operations. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical capabilities while establishing data governance and cybersecurity standards. Troubleshoot system integration issues and lead internal teams in adopting modern system architecture best practices. This hybrid role requires three days in the Marysville, OH office weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field
- 7-10 years' experience in system application engineering, integration or enterprise architecture
- Experience working with automotive or complex manufacturing supply chains
- Strong knowledge of system integration methods (APIs, Webhooks, event-driven architecture)
- Familiarity with supply chain systems: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Production Planning, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation/Logistics systems (TMS), EDI and customer forecast/order integration
- Experience with hybrid system environments (cloud-based SaaS platforms and on-premises systems)
- Experience transitioning or modernizing legacy systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to translate business needs into system solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams
- Must be able to work at least three days in the office each week
