Job Summary
Senior Application Analyst at St. Luke's responsible for enhancing, supporting and maintaining an application within the health system with an emphasis on patient care impact, clinical outcomes and quality improvement. Drives development and testing of new clinical functionality, manages scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixes defects. Serves as a resource for other team members on technical and functional analysis, defines system requirements, and develops models for build/configuration and data integrity. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to educate end users on system functionality, ensures changes align with clinical workflows and change-management procedures, and maintains documentation. Performs testing for releases, generates operational and regulatory reporting, provides end-user training, and participates in project work and on-call support. Strong process improvement and project management skills are required; interacts with IT Management, Clinicians, Consultants and Administrators across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience is required
- Three to four (3–4) years of General Computer experience is required
- Three to four (3–4) years of Revenue Cycle Application experience is required
- One to two (1–2) years of Healthcare experience is required
- One to two (1–2) years of PC/LAN Support experience is required
- Application Experience - McKesson Star, Hospital Information System, Scheduling System experience is required
- MS Office is required
