Job Summary
Senior Application Scientist to configure, support, and lead the implementation of Virscidian solutions in complex laboratory and research settings. Own the implementation lifecycle from project kickoff through go-live, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and scientific objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project managers, solution architects, product teams, customers) to understand needs, design and implement integrations, and enable data-driven workflows. Provide demonstrations, training, and technical support; contribute to business development where appropriate. Responsibilities include leading discovery for data integration scope, guiding data sourcing and ingestion strategies, monitoring data flows and architecture, configuring workflows across laboratory automation, and conducting UAT and governance for projects. Require 8+ years of experience in scientific SaaS deployments; advanced communication skills to translate scientific requirements into technical solutions; familiarity with data integration, API development, Databricks/Snowflake, and lab informatics tools. Remote-friendly with opportunities across multiple remote locations (Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom). Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience deploying Scientific SaaS solutions into life science environments
