Job Summary
Analyze data conversion scope, map legacy files to new system tables, and develop SSIS ETL program modules based on designs. Create and execute SQL queries to validate data, monitor SSIS runtimes, and resolve program errors and performance issues independently. Troubleshoot data integrity discrepancies, perform code reviews, and test converted program modules for accuracy within the system. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide technical mentorship and documentation to State personnel. Requires three years of ETL and SQL Server experience in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas: Working in the application development field with experience using Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools, development experience using SSIS and writing complex database SQL queries
- Working in a SQL server environment
- Creating and maintaining SQL server agents (SSA)
- Working in a relational database environment
- Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the GitHub Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems
- Experience with conversion projects and processes strongly preferred
- Experience in identifying and addressing data quality issues
- Experience with large scale public sector IT projects
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with mainframe systems and lotus notes applications
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
