Job Summary
Senior Application/Integration Engineer sought to bridge advanced R&D and real-world truck operations. Dual role as Manufacturing & Integration Engineer for retrofitting autonomous kits onto truck chassis with standardization and quality control, and as Technical Troubleshooter diagnosing sensor/system issues to keep fleets operational. Requires 5+ years in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing/system engineering, hands-on CAD for fixtures, PFMEA/RCA proficiency, familiarity with autonomous sensing (LiDAR, Camera, Radar) and vehicle networks (CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet), and ability to support on-site and cross-functional teams while ensuring ISO/IATF compliance. Expect responsibilities spanning production development, tooling design, SOPs/PFMEA, on-site support, NPI/DFM collaboration, quality inspection methods, and fleet health monitoring with CAPA implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing, electrical, or systems engineering in automotive/robotics
- Proficiency in PFMEA and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for fixture design
- Solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems and ability to read complex electrical diagrams
- Familiarity with autonomous driving sensors (LiDAR, Camera) and vehicle communication protocols (CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet)
- Strong communication skills to bridge shop-floor technicians and R&D engineers
- Experience with on-site technical support and NPI/DFM collaboration
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and automotive regulatory requirements
