Senior Application Engineer – Scade/MBD

Job Summary
Lead, coordinate, and execute activities throughout sales opportunities for Ansys MBD solutions, including technical discovery, customer meetings, demonstrations, and pilot evaluations. Articulate the value of Ansys MBD solutions by addressing customer process weaknesses and guide complex engagements toward successful outcomes. Develop proof of concepts based on customer use cases, deliver workshops and training, and create pre-sales materials such as presentations and video content. Coordinate with the Ansys team to ensure synchronized delivery of work products and support field and digital marketing by delivering technical content at events and seminars. Submit product improvement suggestions and report defects to Ansys.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Science or related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in A&D or related fields
- Experience in MBD (any tool), code generation, and V&V activities
- Hands-on experience in software development in C/C++ and control systems
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems design
- Proficient in customer facing communication
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree / Ph.D. in Electronics / Computer Science or related discipline
- Exposure to Systems Engineering and MBSE including standards such as DO-178C, ARP 4754B / ARP 4761A, Mil-Std-882E. Knowledge of certification-related procedures is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as Ansys SCADE, Mathworks Simulink, other embedded software design solutions, SysML authoring tools, such as IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect etc.
- Experience with MIL 1553, CAN, AFDX, ARINC 429, ARINC 818, ARINC 653, ARINC 661 etc.
- Knowledge and exposure to Python scripting, TCP/IP, UDP, gRPC etc.
- Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense OEMs, suppliers, Engineering Services Providers, including organizations developing UAVs, Air Taxis, eVTOLs etc. on projects such as flight controls, flight management systems, autopilot, guidance navigation and control systems, engine control/FADEC, Battery Management, Display and Graphics including Aircraft Cockpit Display Systems.
