Job Summary
Build and launch the new GFiber OSS through feature development, service layer work, and end-to-end integration. Lead the development, configuration, and troubleshooting of the OSS ecosystem while setting direction for other software engineers and system integrators. Participate in joint troubleshooting sessions with multiple teams to enhance fault management, customer connectivity monitoring, and device telemetry. Coordinate project execution across architecture, development, and QA to optimize network engineering workflows. Requires 7 years of Java/Kotlin and Python experience with a Tech Lead track record. Full-time US-based role with no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of combined experience in software engineering using Java/Kotlin & Python
- Experience driving complex projects as a Tech Lead
- Experience coordinating the execution of software projects across multiple teams: architecture, development, QA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating and reviewing design for OSS transformational projects including: downstream and upstream integration, dual stack operation, rollout strategy
- Experience with software development within the Telecommunications / Internet Service Provider industry
- Proven ability to navigate and deliver projects in dynamic and sometimes unclear environments
- Experience with end-to-end application troubleshooting
