Job Summary
Senior Application Engineer to lead and execute the technical scope of turbomachinery projects from quotation through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning. Responsibilities include creating system architecture, designing control panels, managing BOM, developing PLC programming and HMI/SCADA applications, performing testing and FAT, providing production and commissioning support, delivering technical training to customers, supporting the commercial team with technical inputs for offers and customer presentations. Ideal candidates have knowledge of turbomachinery/rotating machinery, PLC programming, hardware topics for control systems, CAD (Creo/ePlan Pro Panel), and SCADA systems (iFIX/Citect/Cimplicity), plus fluency in Polish and English; degree in Automation & Robotics or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Automation & Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related
- 4+ years of proven experience in Industrial Automation
- Knowledge related to turbomachinery and/or rotating machinery
- Proficiency in programming languages for PLCs
- Understanding of hardware-related topics for control systems
- Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Creo, ePlan Pro Panel) and familiarity with control cabinet design standards
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, such as iFIX, Citect, and Cimplicity (advantageous)
- Communicative Polish & English, other languages would be a plus
