Job Summary
Senior Application Engineer at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions (Taiwan) responsible for independently executing sampling/testing to support Taiwan ES PCB/IC substrates business, completing and executing corporate and local projects with R&D/product teams, modifying materials for cost down or new applications, conducting all-new product studies, developing and testing new products, and supporting troubleshooting and first-time customer site make-up. Requires Master’s degree or related field (preferred) with at least 5 years of PCB/IC substrate experience and familiarity with metallization; must be able to read and interpret complex technical documents and communicate effectively in Chinese and English; knowledge of JMP/Minitab is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree / Chemical Engineering related degree preferred
- At least 5-years experiences in PCB or IC substrate field
- Familiarity with metallization processes is a plus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and respond effectively in Chinese and English
- Proactive motivation to research and improve product performance by DoE or electrochemical tools or other means is a plus
