Job Summary
Lead the conceptualization, development, implementation, and governance of enterprise application architecture while defining strategies that align technology investments with business objectives. Develop and present business cases, architecture recommendations, and release plans to senior leadership, partnering with business leaders to ensure technology strategies support product and operational goals. Collaborate with product development leadership to align projects with enterprise architecture standards, lead cross-functional teams through solution design and reviews, and serve as a senior consultant on complex initiatives. Research emerging technologies, sponsor R&D initiatives, and mentor architects and engineers to ensure scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions. This role supports a significant enterprise transformation initiative focused on modernizing technology capabilities and enhancing business continuity within Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 plus years of experience in software development, application development, or product development with significant architecture responsibilities
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale application architectures
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, business information modeling, systems design, and integration strategies
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology solutions and roadmaps
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing strategic technology decisions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex technology initiatives
- Strong consulting, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, architectural patterns, tools, and technologies
- Healthcare technology, digital experience, patient experience, or customer-facing platform experience
- U.S. residents only

Desired Qualifications
- IT consulting experience is preferred
- Project or program management experience is preferred
- Experience leading large-scale application modernization, migration, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred
- Experience supporting knowledge transfer, organizational transformation, or global delivery models is preferred
- Experience working within cloud-based and distributed enterprise environments is preferred
