Job Summary
Senior Applications Analyst will lead enterprise-wide application projects, plan, implement, develop, and manage core application solutions across US Dermatology Partners. Works with the applications director to understand current business processes and drive transformation through software design, coding, development, and implementation. Responsibilities include identifying innovative applications, overseeing development across Oracle/SQL Server environments, coding across Python/.NET/Java stacks, vendor negotiations, enterprise project management, testing and QA, security/compliance (HIPAA, PCI, SOX), roadmapping, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders, scheduling rollouts, and ensuring alignment with IT standards and regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in applications, healthcare IT, and project coordination/management; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; experience with e-commerce/telemedicine health products and EMA/NextGen knowledge is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Three (3)+ years experience using and developing applications (required)
- Three (3)+ years experience as a technical resource in a healthcare setting (required)
- Three (3)+ years experience coding and computer programming languages (preferred)
- Three (3)+ years experience in a project coordination/management or training role (preferred)
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases (required)
- Knowledge of Python, .NET and Java platforms and tools (required)
- Ability to manage enterprise-level projects, requirements, and budgets (required)
- Experience with HIPAA, PCI, and SOX compliance (required)
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions (required)
