Senior Appian Developer

Job Summary
Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using the Appian platform, building user interfaces, process workflows, data models, and integrations. Design process models, reports, SAIL interfaces, and reusable components while partnering with architects and engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled automation solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure application performance and reliability, and guide development teams in implementing best practices for securing and deploying applications. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to integrate Appian with external systems, cloud services, and APIs. This fully on-site, direct-hire position requires valid U.S. work authorization and is located in a state outside the restricted list.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level applications using object-oriented technology stacks
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior Appian Developer developing enterprise applications on the Appian platform
- 3+ years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, Records, Reports, Rules, SAIL, Security, Integrations, and Web APIs
- Experience integrating Appian with external systems, APIs, and enterprise applications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience
- Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization
- This role is fully on-site
- This is a full-time, direct-hire position
Desired Qualifications
- Appian Lead Developer Certification
- Experience with AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, or machine learning-enabled business solutions
- Experience with Java or any other object-oriented software development
- Experience with UIPath or other robotic process automation (RPA) platforms
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design and development
- Experience working with cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, and modern integration frameworks
