Job Summary
Senior APN Network Manager responsible for end-to-end management of regional APN partnerships (banks, wallets, card providers) within the Western Union APN, driving governance, SLAs and KPIs/OKRs to ensure regulatory alignment and operational excellence. Role includes identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with regional product teams on future payment requirements, building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, evaluating strategic partnerships to enhance network resilience and currency coverage, staying abreast of global payment trends and regulatory changes (including local wallets and stablecoins), and coordinating with risk, compliance, legal, product, and technology teams to close governance gaps and ensure audit readiness. Requires extensive partnership-management and team-management experience, strong communication and writing skills, and a degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of partnership-management experience in financial services (preferably payments)
- 5+ years of team-management experience
- Undergraduate or graduate degree, or equivalent experience
- Strong management skills, including project planning, coordination, organization, adaptability, and execution
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities and robust technological background
- Knowledge of payment industry participants and ability to build executive-level relationships
- Ability to collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, product, and technology teams to deliver changes and governance
